Since 1988, Milli grew The Principals' Center enrollment from an organization serving local school leaders to an organization serving a vast group of diverse school leaders within the United States. The Principals' Center now serves as a model for numerous Principals' Centers within the United States and abroad. After moving to Maryland, Milli directed development at the Howard University School of Education where she enabled, through vigorous fundraising efforts, the school to increase the number of scholarships to deserving students of color. Milli believes in the enabling powers of education and most particularly in the influential role of school leaders in transforming children's lives.
